Contamination is costly.Automill prevents it.
Bulk intakes for feed mills
Contamination causes substantial financial losses for feedmills annually. Automill prevents these losses at raw material intake: routes are managed automatically, so intake operator errors are avoided.
Routed before the truck arrives
The offloading destination is decided at the weighbridge or the quality process. At the intake point the truck is identified by numberplate recognition or the RFID card issued at the weighbridge, and the route to the correct silo or bunker starts by itself.
No quality sign-off, no offload
The system will not allow an offload to start until the quality process has been completed and approved.
Reclaim that starts itself
A maize reclaim from the silos can start automatically when the system detects low levels in the batching bin, so the bin does not run empty and cause downtime.
From weighbridge to silo
- Weighbridge
Vehicle weighed and identified. Destination decided or quality process started.
- Quality check
Sample taken and quality process completed.
- Vehicle identification
ANPR or RFID card at the intake point.
- Route started
Started automatically by the system.
- Offloading
Automated valves and flow control.
- Intake completed
Transaction recorded, inventory updated and traceable.
What runs the intake
Control
- Automated routing: valves, diverters and conveyors controlled for error-free routing
- ANPR or RFID so only authorised vehicles offload
- Multi-silo and bunker management
Stock
- Material Request Procedure for correct allocation to raw material bins
- Live stock levels for every silo, bunker and warehouse location
- FIFO rules so older stock is used first and expiry is prevented
Records
- Every intake recorded in real time
- Real-time dashboards and reports
- Full audit trail and user authorisation
What it protects
- Raw materials kept apart
- Stock levels you can trust
- Less waiting at the intake point
- No mis-routes, overfills or wrong allocations
