In the millAutomill module
Quality management for feed mills
Quality results sit on the material and the batch they judge, in front of the person making the decision rather than in a folder.
In the mill
Store every quality result and sample against the material or batch it judges, with barcoded samples and pass/fail specifications.
Operator experience
The check appears where the decision is made.
Required checks, whether NIR, moisture, durability, urease, phenol red or sieve shaker, and outstanding actions should be visible in the workflow where they matter.
Where it goes wrong
A folder by date, when the question is about a batch.
A quality result filed by date in a folder answers an auditor slowly and an operator never. Checks belong on the material and the batch they judge.
On the floor
Barcode the sample, test to spec, stop the line.
- Barcode the sample and link it to the process it concerns
- Test against the product specification for an immediate pass or fail
- Flag any result out of range or failed, to stop production from continuing
